And so they ran
Two lovers in the night, racing for shelter
Living in a world which denies their union
Crossing the bridge, running through the streets
Chased by the kings mercenary
They find no shelter within the shadows
His eyes always upon their every move
Hand in hand they dredge on, trying to lose him
But this master of murder knows all their tricks
Jumping behind them
They are lost within the dead end
Pulling his blade, the assassin strikes
Princess jumping in front
Both hearts pierced by his rapier
They drop to the ground
Blood trickles from their corpses
Rushing together in a single puddle
Their spirits rise, blood manifesting
Dancing to their eternal loves serenade
Author notes
3. Give me love. It can be about losing love of finding love i don't care it just has to be about you and that one other person...or people i don't know some people are weird that way.

This is great and a wonderful thought
for the prompt. Forbidden love is such
a terrible thing that some people have to
go through in life. Great job and good luck!

I like this. It's a classic story and you word it very nicely. I especially like the stanza:
"Blood trickles from their corpses
Rushing together in a single puddle"
Gothic sweet. Lovely morbidity. Perfect.
