She taunts me, sweet heavenly muse,
Gazing gracefully upon mortal frame.
‘away with thee,’ screams mine thoughts,
‘but wish to stay with thee,’ is my heart.
Poets, philosophers , all try to capture
Her on paper, in words, in dreams,
Poor artists and dreamers fail to brush
Near truth, near cheek—foul Maiden,
O’ foul Maiden angst burns me to Hell,
Why doth thou hide blushingly beyond
Thy sight, thy adorn sight behind clouds?
In fancy do I climb forth on ladders to kiss you,
Near heaven’s door of vagary do I sleep ‘neath
Your light, your heart, your shade.

sweet.
Love the foul Maiden line, except it's a line in a children's movie of my kids, and I cannot seem to get past it in your write.
Exceptionall sweet I think you have done a beautiful interpretation of this prompt.
Thank you,
Jin
