Eyes closed in piety, nature's
essence touches my soul.
Pine fresh air breezing
caressing crisp, bold.
Feeling her mist turning to
crystal flurries that chill.
Desire to sail ski slopes
graced me with a thrill.
No cleaner air to breathe
erasing sadness, strife.
Enjoying wintry glory as
snowfalls blanket life.
Living for these increment
thick-storms blinding m'eyes.
Expectations are fulfilled
nature shares her gaudy prize.
Author notes
Because I adore snowy days, nights all warm by the fire........Ennovy

I agree these days are amazing. I love taking a walk early in the morning when the day is just beginning. Nothing better than cool winter air.
I love some of the descriptions you used in here they fit perfectly. I almost wish this poem were longer.

AMAZING..
This is an amazing piece of poetic rendition on nature's art and craft on the environment. We are now approaching the winter season and this theme does help the reader to prepare for the surmountable and insurmountable aspects of the winter season.I love the visuals and the wording that helps define the scenery .GREAT WRITE!!!
