I have lived this for many years,
talking to someone I loved that had no ears .
But when he spoke he needed full atention right now,
so listen closely and my way I will teach you how .
Only say it once and should he brush you off ,
put it on tape and put a date there so it wont get lost .
Say not another word untill answers are received ,
and in time it works great this you will see .
For it only takes a second on the first words said ,
its the men who causes us to repeat repeat with such dread .
They think they get tired of it well lets turn it around ,
and let them become the new chatterbox in town.
There were a few times I asked my husband about getting this or that,
he would just shake his head and reply its ok in fact.
But when I would leave without saying a word ,
and bring this item back he would go burzerk .
You told me to I would reply here I have it on tape,
I cant help if you werent listening its your mistake .
Oh he would throw a fit and tell me return it today ,
and I would reply the day you start listening I will be on my way .
Women dont chatter unless the men refuses to hear ,
we get so frustrated putting up with this year after year .
So girls its time we showed those men what it is to live alone,
and stop answeing or listening as they have taught us all along .
That was my favorite defense you have taught me well,
how to be married and yet alone baby its hell .
Now as you sit there frustrated and asking why,
then maybe it will dawn on you and you will pay atention tonight .

I remember when I lst got married, my hubby tossed his clothes in the floor - and just couldn't remem. I'd asked him a hundred times to please put them in the hamper......so, I stopped washing anything that wasn't in the hamper!
- he didn't notice until he went to go to work and had no clean clothes!..hahahahahaha I nicely replied "gees, honey - I washed everything that was in the hamper".....lololol
