When I clicked the contest to view
The static images didn’t give me any clue
I couldn't make head or tail
My wit let me down and did fail.
To analyse the photographic views
I gulped down couple of pegs of booze
That opened my third eye and I could see;
a round face hiding behind the tree.
He’s peeping at the window like a randy
He’d a box of spare batteries handy.
To analyse the second view
I needed a bit more than two
I swallowed half a bottle of witty-wine at a swift pace
Now the moon was bouncing all over the place
It orbited around my head like an inflatable ball
As if the moon was caught in a violent squall
I emptied the bottle just to lampoon moon
and tried to catch the swooned balloon.
The bottle was too small to swallow moon as a whole
So, I released it in the sky for Mari to extol.

you are a bad boy
This was a funny write.. You did so well in this one.. and the rhyming makes it sound like a nursery rhyme with pegs

Best of luck with the contest!

My moon is smiling

You know there were times, when I was still young and (little) wild, I saw the moon like that when returning home from parties. To me was all just white and round, round and round and ... oh, how dizziness can be bad when we look at the sky lol
Your poem made me laugh hard here and reminded me why I don't look up when I have a few glasses wine too many
Thanks my dear friend for your always amazing humour
