I lay here on your head just thinking of the times we had,
But I start to wonder if it was just a fad.
I knew it from the start that we were meant to be,
But I don't think that cats across the street would agree.
It's not my fault I'm so cute and small,
But it is my fault I made those other cats bawl.
I can't help that I love you so,
But in my opinion it helps me to grow.
It's just me and you in this big ole city,
Please don't go and find you a kitty.
Author notes
The mouse is speaking to the cat he's in love with. This is to help you understand the last line.

You scared me for a second here.
If I were going to suggest a change,
I would say “find yourself another kitty”
in that last line. That makes it clearer
that it is a cat talking. Not bad at all.

The cat is not talking it's a mouse talking to it's lover which is a cat.
