a bell may sound the end of love
thoughts of the sounds bring cold new tears
the maiden has hopes to become a dove
every day becomes lost without new cheers
she may expel this boy's quiet manner
seeking desire's rewards of the flesh
calling bold angels to fly her new banner
failure may lead her thoughts to refresh
she casts a spell to charm her love's ardor
lace reveals the antiquity of passion
desire grows when hearts beat harder
flirting glances continue the fashion
snuff the thoughts of love's holy flame
dream of rewards which never came

Hi, you strayed perhaps a little too much from the subject and the meter needs work on it, once you have the hang of iambic pentameter I am sure we will see some lovely sonnets from you.Di
