Here's a little something
sent from heaven above,
sent with love
from me to you.
It can not cover you
like a blanket,
yet it can warm
you from the inside out.
It does not make a sound,
not even a whisper can be heard,
yet it speaks loudly,
from my heart to yours.
It does not feel,
it has no texture,
yet, it is soft and gentle
and can give you comfort.
Within I have sent
something just for you.
Can you feel it?
Do you know it?
I want you to know,
I need you to know,
That even though
we are living apart,
my love is with you.
It will always be there,
all you have to do
is call my name,
and believe
I'll be there,
I'll be there for you.

Ah this was like a very beautiful prayer sent down from Heaven, to someone on Earth, whereas usually prayers are uttered in the other way around.
I could relate to this too, because I have had some 'contact' from the 'other' side, but not in a spooky way as most would think - just a very gentle, very "i'm here for you when you need me" type way - but only when I'm at the lowest of the low in need of help.
Beautifully written though, I can tell that it has touched many people here. Thank you for sharing it with us

I have been so...well - blah, inside, this is the first piece I have read in weeks that has actually even remotely wet my eyes. It was almost as if you wrote it to speak directly to me.
