They pursue me all day long
They twist my words
Trying to do me wrong
Plotting to harm me
Lurking, conspiring, watching
Eager to take my life
But what can man do to me?
I will not be afraid
For He- in His anger-
Won’t let them flee
You have delivered me
When I call for help
I know that He is for me
He has delivered me

yes you did take it almost word for word but you have rewritten it in a more easier way to understand whats trying to be said not many people can do that
but as a poem this is written beautifully i cant guess what inspired you to write this one but we all have wierd and waky inspirations

i wont take credit for writing this one, it came nearly word for word from Psalms 56. I just put it more concisely.

lol, yes, a lot more concisely though; it makes so much more sense/seems to pertain more to life in this age, than how it's written in the Bible... something that is needed at times. yay God! ;-)

this sounds like a prayer
with faith and spirit rising through your words...

Beautiful.
