The sun will rise upon this day
yet still the clouds won't roll away,
then teardrops start to wet my cheeks
you're gone and now my heart feels weak.
You had that way to make my sky
full of rainbows that made me sigh,
but then dark clouds were interspersed
you turned your love round in reverse.
My tears they go unnoticed now
you caught my heart, I don't know how
but now that you have gone away
my life is now in disarray.
Just so you know my love is true
as tears cascade through and through,
my umbrella now has many holes
for without you I'll not be whole.
