Just look into these precious eyes
they're oh so innocent,
but do you understand inside
mankind I do resent?
You lock me up in zoos and such
it feels so awfully tight,
fenced in within this awful place
oh what a lonely plight.
I need to roam the forest floor
for this is my true home,
until then here I sadly sit
wistful and all alone.
I ask you give me freedom
that you all fight so hard for,
then we can live together
with a much more even score.

Interesting contemplations. Were the shoe on the other foot, so to speak, what would these powerful creatures see fit to do with us, I wonder? The "much more even score" would not, I think, run to our favor...

Very true point made in this write. It is sad to see these beautiful creatures caged up for our 'enjoyment'
They should indeed be allowed to roam free as Nature intended. Best of luck in this contest
