First Crow Caw [Song]

Girl, you're like Salome---
Gonna get me killed some day.
Oh yeah, you're all smiles now
But when that baptism of fire cometh down
like searing hot comets from amongst the clouds
they will cometh down, rain down and
I am the first son
I will die born, yeah.

Girl, let's be old-fashioned
And let me lay my head on you
Let me place my Jacob's ladder
Between your breasts, too
Oh, on your chest
on your chest
Is there a fire in your heart?

And it's
Sodom and Gamorrha
between pale heaving hills
Where I wander like a stranger
The shepherd searches for a manger
I'm turned away and spurned by you
But girl, I know, I know
That there's a vacancy in your heart

First Crow caw
Then Dove coo
First Crow leaves
And Dove does too
The Raven stays away
But the Dove comes back
Yet the water still rises and
still there's knives in my back.

Only stone to lay my head upon
You've sheared my hair
When I thought I could repair
You've shared my affair
But now I've tasted the pair
and I see
Oh, now I see, yeah

First Crow caw
Then Dove coo
First Crow leaves
And Dove does too
The Raven stays away
But the Dove comes back
Yet the water still rises and
still there's knives in my back.

only stone to lay my head upon...
now i've tasted the pear,
oh i've tasted the pear
and warm liquid drips
oh, down from my lips
and yeah, how it hits
hard and warm like never before
Hits home like a stone like never before
In my temple
In your temple
On my temple
In his temple
I'm pierced and pierced and pierced
and I'm up above the sky
and I'm down, down, down
and why does the black never come back?
But the blackness is here to stay?
Where is the white when I need it to come?
And why are the angels away?

First Crow caw
Then Dove coo
First Crow leaves
And Dove does too
The Raven stays away
But the Dove comes back
Yet the water still rises and
still there's knives in my back.

Author notes

I thought this up while I was looking up information on John the Baptist and thinking about Jesus Christ (especially his baptism) and UFO's and how I could see how the Dove which descended from Heaven when Jesus was born could be interpreted as a UFO.
