Daddy Daddy I giggle out loud
Where is it were going
What are we going to get
Tell me tell me
I was happy, I was hyper
I was going to get a good friend
Though I didn't know where
And I didn't know what
Introductions and a walk through
He showed me the puppies
And i cooed right then
Looking from to another
Standing by the door
Pink little noses poke through
Opening the door
Out they go
Yet one in the back sat back
Watching others go
Then he looked up at me
And I looked back at him
Oh daddy daddy
Just look at him
Just look at cute he is
Just look at how he looks at me
Stepping forward i hold out my hand
Ssshh its ok lil fella
I cooed for him
Slowly, nosily he comes out to see
Snuggling into me
He rest his head upon my knee
A smile i know upon his face
As I said oh daddy can i have him
As I picked him so delicately
Laughing as he cuddled into me
Glad to have a warmth
Glad to have loving arms.
With a little pink spray
It was declared he was mine
Now to this day
He repays
By cuddling with me when I'm cold
By barking to warn me
By being the best friend
Any girl could ask for.
