i expect it to be dark like this
but grades of light fall through closed eyelid's
and the music on the stereo falls around me
swirling around me adding to the thoughts
of me being me drifting away
thinking i might just fall asleep
gentle wind blows around me
i rub my arms self consciously
and it feels so soft this touch
almost as if the wind is a blanket
being gently wrapped around me
from here the world does not look so gray
but brilliant colors like dreams of light
dance and shimmer in a stream
like seeing a great city through a fog
and this sense of great love fills my heart
and it makes me think that my life is going to be ok
