Aqueous (I)

Under the water the world is quiet
Breathing pounds slowly in her ears,
Restless but slowing, slowing
To the beat of a heart in pain
Aching, and begging for a release
In an underwater world beckoning
Blood floats viscous in the surface
Beautiful and ethereal, it dances
Like a clothe the bandage unhealing wounds
Until the heart will beat no more.

In your next to the last line "clothe" should be "cloth" This is an extremely lovely piece of poetry. Such rich imagery in here and a great take your chosen prompt.
