[ hello again rain ]

Hello again rain
i see your raving with energy today
as you jump from my rooftop to my window payne
  You must have been bored
sitting in that cloud for days
but you've finally decided to come out and play
  You've picked the right time
i have nothing to do
my favorite pastime has always been watching you
    Your usually perfect
but today your timing is bad
i love you when im happy, but i die to have you when im sad
  Are'nt you surprised
you get to see me with a smile on
and it's thanks to the plan that god has devised

I have so much more to tell you
things i cant even describe
say that again, oh that's your ride

Well maybe i can tell you
when your coming down nonstop
there's no need to call
just knock on my rooftop

I LOVE the idea of imagining rain sitting in the clouds, bored and waiting. Haha, that's a fun mental image for me. A couple small mistakes here and there --- things like "your" when you mean "you're" and apostrophes in the wrong places. Anyway, thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest

This was fantastic! I absolutely adore the last stanza. "there's no need to cal, just knock on my rooftop." Absolutely brilliant!

This is a wonderful write! I really enjoyed the flow of this one! a one on one conversation with the rain. You worded this beautifully, the flow was perfect. Thankyou for entering my contest, and Good Luck!
