From the first leaf that changes,
to the final leaf that falls,
exists an infinity of moments, days, and circumstances.
The Autumn season lasts forever,
somewhere deep within,
we all know it does.
Under the guise of Autumn's umbrella,
encapsulated under a myriad of colors,
each day lasts
indeterminately.
Endless days,
endless colors,
endless demises,
Inevitably fom every tree,
each leaf will fall,
some flying off forcefully in a swift
breeze,
some exiting with the grace of a twirling dancer,
some shaken forcibly off their limbs by children.
Still all sharing one common fate.
Now most of the leaves are gone--
One bitter November gale
displaces the rest to
be trampled underfoot.
The barren trees which remain
are barren not;
except for their memory.
Please tell me what you think

Nicely penned!
As an older person, this speaks to the inevitable mortality of us all. Born to die if you will. You softened the blow a bit by the flow of your words and combined the thought with the natural course of life. Good imagery. Keep up the good work

Fantastic!!!!
This is full of imagery rythem and flow you paintd quite a picture here!! -
Great
I really liked the analogy "season/life", as anyway it seems to be in your poem:
"The Autumn season lasts forever,
somewhere deep within,
we all know it does."
and the way you ended your text is perfect!

Beautiful
I liked how you used Autumn to describe our lives in general. You drew a very vivid picture of the leaves falling to the ground which made the work more than a poem.

Thank you for your comment. I was still revising it as you were reading it, I think. So I'm glad you liked the version you read.
