I don't see anything,
But I hear a river,
Rushing forth, sounds like rapids,
In my head my eyes slowly open,
Everything is a frosty blue,
The air looks crispy, like those cheesy frosted glass effects on films.
I'm skating on really thin ice,
It looks as thin as paper,
I can see the rapids rushing underneath it,
But I can't go anywhere,
I'm stuck, compelled to skate forever more,
Though I know I can escape at any time,
All I need to do,
Is open my eyes...
Author notes
I wonder if I could ice skate. I've never tried that I remember. This must be due to my dream last night, I was an ice skating vampire. It was really strange.
