a Neolithic lad most probably
cast the first skipping stone into a placid pond
his reflection
as if another
resided in the realm of rippled moments
that took his throw
and passed it on
to others

Ripples, skipping stones...these images are rich for the thoughtful. Very nice poem.

I like this view of the caveman bending low to inspect his wondrous visage for the first time. What rippled moments have spread out in time since then. A unique perspective you brought to the contest, thanks.

A very well thought out piece, I love the history of man. This sums up so much about us with so little.
Great write.
No criticisms

This is interesting... i also really like the title and whole piece itself. It reminds me of skipping stones as a child and mine would jusk go plonk an send ripples all over the lake. Great write
