In the Fog

We slowly walk to the side of the pond,
the May Moon softly glowing in the blackness above us.
The thick dew on the grass soaking our feet with every step
as we make our way to the canoe
and float gently out to the middle of the calm waters.
Sitting on his lap, facing him with his arms around my waist,
I wonder if it can get any more romantic than this.
Fog hovering inches above the water,
encircling us in it's damp, cold chill.
Secluded.. all other sounds, worries, fears
cease to exist and he is all I see.

Ok so this has nothing to do with birthdays obviously but you said you wanted love.. and this is my opinion of it right here.. from a page of my life.. I give to you

          Well the only reason for the is I miss him..
          we're still good friends but he lives about 90 miles away and neither of us have to the gas money to visit much..
          but oh well.. everything happens for a reason I guess
