You could be the richest man in the world ,
or the poorest sleeping on a hard cold floor.
The teen lost in the alleyway ,
or the tiny child with the shine of love upon your face .
As life begins we are given ways to go,
some are given a foundation from whence to grow.
Others are fogotten and in time shake with fear,
for they were never taught that life was so dear .
As we grow and often we find our own way ,
asking questions why me today .
Yet as we grow older and see what life so needs,
is a foundation to stand upon indeed.
We begin to build this foundation one friend at a time,
treating them as we would have them treat us nothing but kind.
For love comes in many forms and friendships is the very base ,
it's what brings each foundation together for a happy life today.
Now if you feel your life is falling and you don't see love,
know it's within your reach for each of us.
Only you can choose to be happy and leave old memories behind,
for the first friend is yourself you will see this in time.
For if you aren't one who can love and believe me we all are able you see,
others about you will pass you by for you refuse their company.
Choosing to be alone this is no one elses fault but your own,
for we each have the ability to love only love can't live alone.
Love is gained by loving others and helping them help you,
Love is not looking back but looking forward to what to do .
Love is giving of oneself to see another find their way ,
and in doing this we help build this foundation every day .
Everyday I hear someone cry and I extend my heart,
for to bring them joy and happiness one must take part.
For fate brings us joy or pain only dont you see ,
you have a choice only you can make so take love and set yourself free .
Listen not to what others whisper for within you you no its not so ,
build your strength and foundation and watch your love grow .
you can never please everyone yet there are those reaching out today ,
open your eyes and find so many friends that have come your way .
From this day forward tell me what will you choose ,
to stay depressed and lonely or look for a new muse .
So many think its impossible yet if they would only smile and say hello,
and do this everytime they think of it they will see love begin to grow .

Myself once when I thought the world was crashing in on me : Locked away in my apartment I had just moved to a new city and didnt know a soul. I stayed locked away for a while and the longer I was there the sadder I became .So one day I decided if no one will come to me I will go and introduce myself so I did . Some were kind and invited me in and others didnt .But thats OK This gave me the base on which to build this friendship and my days began .I wasnt alone anymore and I was getting out more and before I knew it I had many friends about me and this was good .I wasnt lonely any more . So many people refuses help when its offered I say if someone reaches their hand out to you take it and know fate brought them to you like a guardean angel who so wants to see your smiling face once again . Dont hold back live everyday to its fullest even if this means change
