the voices of the forest speak to me through the leaves blown in the wind
a peaceful place, this earth is
a private sanctuary on its hallowed ground it can be
for the rules, you can bend
leave the urbanity behind
let the sunset and sunrise deplete thoughts of it from your mind
beyond the forest lies the plains
with the oak tree on the hill to soothe the pain
the flowing waters, the stream of dreams
cold, yet good for the tortured soul
