The End Where I Begin

Life wait for her
outside the hollowed walls.
Under a deep blue sky,
she feel the wind brush
her skin for the first time.
Under his love,
she found it breathe.
The light of the
sun warms her cold flesh,
as he feels freed from
the bonds of a stone heart.

Her world,
once an eternal
midnight was broken.
With its death,
she was reborn.
Like a star,
that faded into the night,
only to once again re-ignite.

Powerful write. I liked the part near the end about being reborn. It seems like the cycle from night to day time can seem like a rebirth almost. Like, how each beginning of a day can be a new beginning. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest.
