Wandering through the endless maze of my mind
I come upon a place
Remembering suffering caused by humankind
Tears course down my face
As I ponder this world
And its state of brokenness
So much pain, injustice, and rage.
Where is Love? Where is Justice? Only hate...
Warring over wrong and right,
We try so hard to win this fight
Running from the standard already set
We make up our own and try to forget.
