hanging on too long

Missing image

There were no meanings behind April's grave
where I lay
unseen

as a colourless sky of folded showers
stills my world
and a pretty face sleeps in the grey

keeping time
even before the tulips
pretend they won't die

without you

Conceding defeat, that is what I am doing, how does one compete with such beautiful sadness. Best to you in the contest
