Wouldn’t it be great to find a true friend
Who will understand you even till the end;
Someone to laugh with when your days are fair,
Someone to cry with when you’re in despair;
It is truly a blessing , a gift from above
Having a friend with immeasurable love;
Sticking with you through thick and thin,
Caring as always in every little thing.
Battles we fought from time to time
In our disagreements, we cannot deny;
But then, through these struggles we find,
Our friendship gets stronger as years go by;
With a grateful heart, I thank my God
For friendship borne from up above;
In this world of ours full of misery and pain,
A true friend beside you is truly a gain!
