you tell me you love me,
you say nothing will change that
if this is true why do you
avoid me when i call?
i say it's over
i can't take anymore,
you start to cry,
you say it'll all be okay
so i decided what else
can i do but stay.
another night filled
with regret and self hatred.
i did exactly as you wanted,
even after i realized you
do not nor have you ever
loved me.
for once can't you
just tell me the truth
no matter how painful
that it may be. nothing
could be worse then this
agonizing pain of never
knowing the real truth,
always sitting here left
to wonder if things could be different.
this wondering is
getting me no where,
so i beg you for once,
tell me the painful truth

Interesting poetry; it makes me wonder. So often when we ask for the truth, we are miserable with lies. But then when we finally get the truth we just wish for the lies; I guess they're easier to deal with.
At least, that's what I've found. I like this poem though. Interesting writing =D
