What's so wrong with it?
It's not like we are hurting anyone
I just wanna love who I want
without any judgment
I'm tired of people saying it's wrong
it's a sin
it's an abomination against God
but even eating shrimp is wrong to him.
I refuse to give in
to what most think is "right"
The only option I see is to fight
be proud of who I am
and stick strong to where I stand
cause all we got is each other
so we have to watch out for one another.
I've lived my whole life
with people putting me down
but I was scared and too shy to say anything
So they just got another round
I'm not gonna take it anymore
I'm tired of being emotionally weak and sore.
If you don't like me
I don't care
If you think I am an abomination
you're not the only one
No longer will I be a victim of discrimination
This is who I am
and I'm never gonna change.

Good stuff. "They" are rubbish judges of what is right and wrong.....and from what I can see, have the sensitivity, conscience and soul to make tough decisions on your own moral ground.

I not only think you made your point but I applaud you for standing up for who you are. Most people will readily judge others on their own beliefs. However those same poeple have flaws that in thier eyes are just "No big deal. But YOU!" Doesn't the bible say "Judge not least ye be judged."? Now let's look at it a different way for a second. I'm not saying it is, but let's say that it is a sin. Are these people God? No. Who are they to judge you in the first place? If you are such an abomination why did God create you this way. For crying out loud. Sometimes it seems that as messed up as this world is we are lucky to find anyone capable of love. If we decide who you love or don't love, what do we decide next? Where does it end? They usually won't address those issues or listen to arguments about themselves. No let's keep the focuse on what I think is wrong with You. Well I say Stand Tall. Look them in the eye and say... well I won't say that but I'm sure you know what to say.
