I love it when you smile at me
with teeth that aren’t quite straight.
Your lips, a shade to full but soft,
I find a wondrous trait.
The way you tightly hold my hand
whenever you’re upset,
the way you make me feel
OK when I forget.
The funny way you giggle
fills my days with mirth.
You fill my heart with happiness
like no else on earth.
You make life interesting
with all your little quirks.
I’ve learned to never question,
just accept, that our love works.
Somewhere in my heart,
you’ve made a true connection.
I can’t help but love you
and your perfect imperfection.

This is a love poem to wrest with Shakespeare. So cute and obviously loving. Gave my old heart a sigh or two!

I love 'I’ve learned to never question,
just accept that our love works'. Very thought provoking.

Wow, I'm glad I choose yours to read, The words in this one roll with a kind of gaining momentum I Love it all, wouldn't change it at the least, I mean that, but the last eight lines I adore especially.
Nothing in this world is perfect, the title describes it all.
Perfect Imperfection,
Great write
