Life had us covered
in an ocean of pain
Together we survive
by learning to maintain
Love and kisses are our
breath of fresh air
Twin as one we overcome
heartache and despair
Staying afloat amidst
waves of destruction,
that try to bring us down
like a whirlpool suction
Tho trouble waters run deep
love and devotion makes
our hearts complete
Our joy is fulfilled like
an incoming tide,
that burst the shores
with excitement and pride

because a love like yours
