We saw our nation attacked.
They paraded into town,
Killing anyone who protested,
And there was no reason to clown.
So we formed an underground group.
We called ourselves the Home Army.
Many of us still young to be in a troop,
But we wanted to force out the enemy.
What we were doing was illegal,
And the enemy punished anyone by death,
But we were ready to defend out nation and our eagle,
And we weren't afraid of death.
Blowing up supply trains, making our own weapons,
Saving innocent people, flying our national flag.
They could do nothing to stop us.
All the enemy could do is gag.
Dread would come closer,
Whenever they saw our symbol.
Because they then knew that we were near,
And, we always meant trouble.
We struck fear into those bearing swastikas,
Or those wearing red with a sickle and hammer.
Even though most of us wore no specific uniform,
We weren't afraid to assault and attack.
They called us terrorists,
But we embraced the term.
Since we could not stop our anger,
For we did not want them here.
Death was just accepted,
Since we were dying in protection,
Of a nation we held dear,
And no one could stop us,
From trying to force them OUT!
