Never
Maybe your out there right now, dying alone in the haze.
Are you crying; locked in a trunk just inches outside of my gaze?
Perhaps you are long dead and gone; buried here beneath my feet.
I have searched for you now for so long. Maybe we're never to meet.
These tears erode lines in my face as I cry out my tears for your love.
The one that would grow old with me; that fits like a hand in my glove.
Maybe they killed you unborn. "We simply can't afford a child."
Are you sunk in addiction and sin; a fleshpot on Girls Gone Wild?
In a coma you could be next door; through a wall and I never would know.
Crying; not making a sound; praying that they'll let you go.
Maybe you're kept in a room, abused by a pervert each day,
Struggling, hoping for me to come free you and take you away.
Love, I can't find you at all. I've searched all my lost, lonely life.
Each evening I lay down alone. Sleep comes to cut like a knife.
Another day cut from my soul. Another night cold and alone.
A week is just seven new scars. A month is a slash to the bone.
Love, I can never find you. Not good enough; what I must be.
Darling, I wait here alone. Maybe some day you'll find me.

A Terrific Poem
This is real, and it is real good poetry.
There should be a special one for everyone.
