Winds of Change

There is a new wind fiercely blowing
dispersing the shadows in my life,
coursing a pathway through resistance
cutting bonds of conflict like a knife.

Caught on its breath I rise up higher
cascading in waves of self reform,
ebbing and flowing in the current
exhaling the debris of each storm.

Dared to ride the winds of attainment
heeding their whispered words of gain,
dared my heart to be free and soaring
spanning the atmospheric plane.

Vision rides on waves of persistence
opens my mind to understanding,
shifting and swerving like a kite
propelling me to a safe landing.

Facing the wind its breath surrounds me
carries me, advances, and propels,
at last, I’ve felt the kiss of heaven
and wind chimes ring like striking bells

    Great stuff.

To be inspired to rise above one's problems is like a good wine for it allows others to forge some hope and try it out. Great message and loved it.

    I Can Relate

Caught on its breath I rise up higher
cascading in waves of self reform,
ebbing and flowing in the current
exhaling the debris of each storm.

This was my favorite, just because you used the word "cascading" in spanish, "cascada" is a waterfall. I just went through a phase like this in in my life, where change was like a waterfall. I couldn't stop it, but just had to stand and let the water crash upon me, seeming to whip away the pass and bringing a brand new era in life.

Your poem was beautiful, and I can relate to it. Keep up the good work.

    Best regards,
    Holly

    Good

I enjoyed your theme of change and reform; it seems to have found me at a time when I needed to read it. I was reeled in by and could relate to:

"There is a new wind fiercely blowing
dispersing {extra space here} the shadows in my life,
    coursing a pathway through resistance"

I am an awful critic, but would constructively rephrasing "attain" and maybe the fourth stanza.

"Facing the wind its breath surrounds
    carrying me, advancing, it propels,
at last I’ve felt a kiss from heaven
    ringing out like striking bells"

Have a wonderful Sunday, it was good to read and healing.
