Haiku of birds

Autumn's dawn chorus
but thrush sings a requiem
the summer is dead.

Spring woodlands rebound
with birdsong
nomad troubadours.

a frosty morning

robin sings on washing line

frozen shrouds.

Blue jays bicker

amongst almond blossoms

hen pecked

Cockerel chases

cockerel

barn's wall of death.

An avian of wonder here, with almost an equal amount of the countryside. Nicely done.

These are really beautiful and of all that I have read today, these most seem to embody the feel of traditional Haiku.
the first piece I like a lot, and further on the line frozen shrouds really made a strong impression on me.

    I love birds!

I also love how you have teased the senses with this natural beauty! I can hear the "birdsongs". There is a beautiful woodland in my backyard, (City property) most mornings, I am pleasantly awakened by a pair of morning doves that seem to have been with us since we wed, me and hubby. I would swear they are the same two that were with us at our other house.

Anyway… Your poem made me sigh and smile throughout. I wish you well in the challenge dear friend.

    Much Love Always ♥

Love the string of Haiku, very transendental. It leaves me thinking of walking down the trails, listening to the birdsong. Brilliant imagery!
