I watch you walk away from me,
A sadness wrenches at my heart,
I don't exist, you don't see,
How you're tearing me apart.
The anger that envelops me,
As I watch you smile with her,
How stupid my dreams could be,
That I was the one you preferred.
I get home and fall to my knees,
Clawing at and destroying everything in reach,
Sobbing away my desires, my pleas,
My pointless attempts to beseech.
Instead I lay there cold and alone,
No energy left for my tears,
The love that I have you could never have shown,
Those are words I'll never hear.

This is so sad.But the last two lines speak volumes. This sadness breaks my heart. So many people feel this way today its so depressing.I have felt this way to many times to mention. You chose a topic that many many people can relate to.I do hope that this is only a poem you wrote and not something that you are going through right now.It is very well written, and again if you are going through this you have my deepest sympothies.
