I'm shiny like varnish
I can't stand the site
Just afraid I might harness
What my thoughts are about
My skin bruises well
How they got there
I'm not going to tell
Shh, I did it myself
The yellows look precious with
The pale, pinkish white
I needed that myth
Tell me everything's alright
TELL ME TELL ME there's no fence
To cross over the bees
That I can see sense
When your words are just ends
Help me. Don't just send for a box
To put myself in, ship myself off
Don't just wrap me up with magic locks
I'm you lover, I'm a daughter
Watch me now. I can't let them win
I can see now that it will not end
His touches want lust but that sin
I'm crazy, a lunatic, a looker for spins
I love you, my words are just dust
He vacuums them up, kisses my eyes shut
Speaks to me softly, he thinks that he must
He thinks I don't need a lover's touch
Its always the same, I'm never sane
It starts out with tears
It begins with the rain
My throat closes up and I can't feel the same
The last time he touched me
I could see his palms
He had wanted to marry
But his words are just dust, like me
Author notes
I know it's a little long, but hopefully worth the read

This isn't that long, don't worry! Actually, I found this enjoyable. I especially liked this part:
"I love you, my words are just dust
He vacuums them up, kisses my eyes shut
Speaks to me softly, he thinks that he must
He thinks I don't need a lover's touch"
Those were some beautiful lines, though your rhyme could use some work. I suggest you try freeverse. You might be able to come up with some good images and the whole rhyme/meter thing won't be an issue. Thank you for entering my contest.
