I feel so angry with you
Yes, that's right, you
I can't stand the direction your taking
I hate everything that makes you, you
You seem to think your smarter
believe that only you understand
The direction we should be taking
Every place we should make a stand
O how I hate the way that you look
As if everything you say is truth
When its obvious you don't even know
How to tell the fucking truth anymore
We have laws within the US ARMY
That say don't shoot till shot upon
It's not right to shoot an unarmed man
But you say it's her choice to kill within the womb
You say let young kids have protected sex
Let non-profit organizations clean up the mess
You can pay to kill a 14 year old's problem
but no amount of money will heal her heart
I'm pretty sure I don't believe in god
and I know I don't fucking care
But it pisses me off, you tell us that evolution is fact
though you know there's know actual proof, and that's wrong
I can go on and on about how you tell us to think
It has to be your way, or you'll tell us we're wrong
If we disagree we must be unintelligent
Well I'm sick of it, and I have something to say

I'm not here to tell anyone what to think, but I'm sick and tired of the media doing just that!
Freedom means being able to do what you think is right(within the law), based on information given, unbiased to the people. When I watch the News, I expect just that, news, maybe even some opinion, if given in a helpful, educational way. Not some one telling what to think, telling me something is completely and utterly wrong when that is only your opinion. Screw you, and the horse you rode in on. I apologize for the language in this poem, I was so pissed off when I wrote it that it just happened. I usually think swearing makes poems distasteful, even though I've seen it used very well in some poetry, but oh well, it fits well in this poem.

You are right on one thing, the media does try to manipulate our minds, but at the same time, the news is someone's opinion too. Just as we have the right to say what we want to, so do they. Regardless of that fact, I like this poem, swearing or no. It was straight and to the point, and was a very good insight into something no one wants to discuss.

You are very passionate about what you are talking about in this poem.although I do agree with you in point I do believe that it is the person listening to the media's right to just not listen.When I get tired of it I simply try to not listen for a while until there is something that I want to find out about and I get several opinions and not just the one's that I don't agree with.Great job on showing how you feel and getting it out and I know that alot of us feel the same way but we just have a differant point of view.
