Im dragging myself through the insanity
That is your very thought process
Begging for a little sense
To fall out of all this mess

I tried this before
Once upon a time
With some one else
In another world

And I drowned within the chaos
Swimming for shore as fast as I could
And praying I wouldn't suffocate
Beneath the weight of empty promises
And true lies

I'd lose myself as quickly
As You could find me
I'd gladly pull forth something
If only I knew it was real

For from your lips
Could pour forth everything
That could cure my soul
Of its hungry disease

But you deny me
Play me
Toy with me
Draw it out like midevil torture

Oh but could I inflict you with pain
I would
I would tear at you the same
But my heart cries in anguish

Poor pitiful pathetic heart
Have you not had enough done to you
That you try once again
For lying eyes and smiling torment
