twice a week i go and find one
but the seagulls crowd around and
a fiery furnace shakes its fist at me

"a fiery furnace shakes its fist at me" I really like that line...tho i have no clue what the poem means at all. I just really like that line.

This poem seems to represent life's frustrations and the hot feelings we experience when things change and do not go our way.
YAY for your smart poem!

I believe that its saying everytime you find a good memory of your younger days, people around you criticize you, and you lose your thoughts

hm, this is true, i don't know if that's what this means necessarily, but i love your interpretation.

you are looking for something, the seagulls imply you are at the beach and the "fiery furnace" is a reference to the sun.
so you are at the beach searching for seashells, or trying to scope out sunbathers in their swimsuits. -

well, i never saw it that way lol, but thanks for the comment!
