Rag Doll

My body is wanted for so many things
The guys that I know think I'm a fucking machine
My corpse is the prize, my mind is worthless
Maybe I should just fade away on purpose.
At the end of the day I'm just a piece of meat
I've been preyed upon and I've been beat
All I ever wanted was to be loved
but deep down inside I know that no one gives a fuck.

    Hello Haley,

I see that you have written with a lot of raw emotions. Your body is a temple and should be treated like one. Anyone who does not respect your body and the choices you make with it, do not need to be in your life.

I am sad that you have had to go through this.. its a tale that a lot of other women share a common thread with you. At some point, you have to decide to fight or to give in.. I hope you'll choose to fight.

I hope that you will heal from the pain that seeps out of these words.

    Welcome to Allpoetry

    Hello, havoc.haley

This is an amazing write, though I'm devastated that there is an element of personal experience to it. You are a bright, beautiful young lady, with tons of gifts to bring to the table, and it saddens me to know that you've been so mistreated at such a young age.

I often tell poets that a well-placed f-bomb can make or break a piece of writing, and yours definitely did the former. Not one of your profanities seemed harsh or out-of-place; rather, they added to the raw emotion in your poem.

You will find that writing is a wonderful release for all of that pent-up anger and sadness, and I hope that this offers you some sort of closure. If you ever need anything, whether it be editing-help or just someone to talk to, please let me know

    Write on!
