Stark white tower beams,
Like a light shining truth
in the darkness of this world.
Glowing words from his book.
Gives hope to the spiritually blind.
Steering their ship into the harbor,
The Bible is the navigational guide.
On a foggy night light shows the way
The light from this lighthouse
Has been my guide…

I liked the overall metaphor that came from this piece... it was a good take on the prompt and opened many doors for imagery and emotion; but I just don't feel like you took those doors.
This metaphor was a good idea, but you could've done a lot more with it, but exploring different factors of the metaphor, adding in strong imagery and including even stronger emotions.
A good idea though, and I really enjoyed the truth in the piece. -
beautifully done
lighthouse a beacon of light
beautiful truth my friend
