Polly's cracker

The pirate limped across the deck's floorboards
in pain he sought the cage that hung from rope.
He cooed and called his pet for food reward.
In bill that grabbed a cracker lay a feast.

She nibbled and ate and cleaned her colored face.

and then screamed out

"Is that all you got for me?"

Hmm. I like the wording, the imagery, and think it's actually good humor. Don't really get how it relates to Polly, but I think she'd like this... I do. Thanks for your entry.
