Father Christmas is Real
All of Santa’s clothes
are red
apart from his boots
and his buttons and his black belt
White hair and beard
sprout from his head
in his hands
he holds magic
He loves children
it is said
his smile and his eyes
are twinkling
He brings their presents
while they’re in their bed
how he manages
they have no inkling
His magic and his reindeer
must be fed
with carrots and mince pies
and some milk for drinking
You don’t need to feel
that you are being misled
Santa Claus is just
a Christmas way of thinking

nb. Contest Prompt Number: I initially headed this poem '#3' - I've no idea why I typed that! I've edited to '#9', which is as intended. Sorry to confuse.
