From ancient mountain
and ageless sky born,
tumbling trickled tears,
a comfort to arid earth.
The frequency of fluid
seeps upon the surface,
tinkling mellow melody,
feeding fen and pool.
Sail the sumptuous curves
of the naked silver lady,
flow upon her breath
to the gates of the sea .
With arms open wide,
we should stand and sing
in universal dedication,
to the giver of life.

Calming and entrancing!
Very beautifully written! I could see and hear almost every movement of the river in your poem! Very good imagery and it flows as smooth and constant as the river you write about!
Well done and best of luck in the contest!
