The Cat

Upon soft, searching paws
The cat pads silently
The floor defiled by its claws,
Blood soars through the air majestically.

The cat has caught its mouse
And proceeds throughout the house.

That's great!! I have to cats of my own and they love catching mice!! However, they've never attacked one so badly I've seen blood or anything. When they catch them they fling them in the air and play catch. It's really sad for the mouse, but at the same time it's kind of comical. I never really liked being told how to write poetry in my English classes, I'd rather they had let us pick a style to write with. But nice use of the rhyme pattern!!!
