Slipping In The Sunshine

Lament; stars cloak eye golden mist,
heather blooms it’s essence pleasant
kiss, caresses heart.
Butterflies observe withering complexion,
feathered leaves sway, tears of ashes.
Moon opaque shadows, resting song echo’s,
white rose opens her hands, grasp red rose.
Last star falls,  ice shimmers dim light.
Angelic choir of humming birds stop harps,
dewy soil, buds tiny emerald seed.
Rainbow of colours re-paints blank canvas.

    This piece reminds me greatly of Autumn falling into winter and spring arising from it. The imagery here is very beautiful.

    Good write.

    Beautiful imagery! I loved the lines;
    'Butterflies observe withering complexion,
    feathered leaves sway, tears of ashes.'
    Flowing and dreamy.
