Fragile Beauty

There's life untainted beyond frozen streams
So gently must the only way be crossed
Among the Winter's glaciated leaves
A hidden beauty deeper than first frost

A crystal formed, too fragile to desire
Enforced by its own shadow to retire

i agree, you were able to make this piece serious and flow well without using meaningless 'filler words' that makes the poem crappy. something i do lol. wonderful write, i have to read more from you, i love talented poets, you inspire me and help me to grow. much love and respect.

It's nice to see rhyme in these contests because most people can't pull it off (me included) in such a short word count.

It's almost a semi-sonnet. This contest is certainly getting some formidable entries.

    Good luck
