autumn chills
crimson leaves slumber
winter tiptoes
grey clouds hasten
solemn days begin
icy solitude
faith continues
fires burn brightly
hopes remain vigilant

Nicely done, Carole... My only critique would be the last haiku didn't seem to connect with the first two... you lost the nature feel. Still, it was beautiful read and I wish you all the best...

thanks
actually the third haiku is because of the first two . . so the connection . . appreciate the read . . notice it is non-traditional so not limited to nature . .
