Found on her pillow when she opened her eyes
A beautiful note that made her sob
Cuddled next to a long stem rose
A delightful fragrance, blood red covered in dew
And this is what it said
Thank you baby for the rest of my life
For the honor and pleasure of being my wife
I love you more than mere words can explain
The preacher is waiting later today

I really liked this. I thought it was very sweet and loveable, and made me want to go "awwww". The only thing that annoyed me a bit was the ending line. I felt like the "your anxiously waiting groom" should be seperated from "will you marry me", because as it is now it just goes into one, which I'm sure isn't what you intended.
Anyway, maybe that's just me. Other than that, I really liked your poem. Good job! -
