We look and seek but do we find
So where to look I say behind
It's there we see the path we've made
The innocence that's lost not gained
But we must never linger there
It's come and gone nothing to share
but memories of what we did
the things we changed or how we hid
So where to live if not the past
The future it is coming fast
The place remains so much unknown
So much we think so little shown
Although these places are so sweet
Its just right now that has the beat
The flow of life thats all around
The place of truth and love we've found
For times a trick we cannot see
Till tracking down our destiny
It's then we see all time is change
The change from small to big again
So where to look I say behind
It's there we see the path we've made
The innocence that's lost not gained
But we must never linger there
It's come and gone nothing to share
but memories of what we did
the things we changed or how we hid
So where to live if not the past
The future it is coming fast
The place remains so much unknown
So much we think so little shown
Although these places are so sweet
Its just right now that has the beat
The flow of life thats all around
The place of truth and love we've found
For times a trick we cannot see
Till tracking down our destiny
It's then we see all time is change
The change from small to big again
Author notes
It is the nature of man (and women, please assume this) to question all things. To seek a greater knowledge and to know a perfect way. This is a journey into the philosophy of where we should focus our awareness, and how the paradox of time can act as an illusion blinding us from all the glory of the present moment.

Wonderful! I really love the thoughts you expressed in this. Quite profound and to me, very true. We can learn by our mistakes but shouldn't dwell on them too much either!
All the best in the contest.
